radiator fan not coming on....
my radiator wont turn on, i let car sit at idle for a while and drive it and it doesnt come on,,,,is their a fuse inside the car or in the engine bay for it and if so like about where is it, what number is it and what numbers are in between it, or is it something totally different?
also, if you follow the coolant hose from the top of the radiator to the block, you will notice a small nipple like thing with a hole in the top, coolant just sit in it, doesnt overflow just sits in it...
any ideas on either? d15 is the motor

If the car isn't overheating, it's not a problem. It probably isn't hitting operating temperature at idle sitting in your driveway. Take it for a drive and beat on it a bit, then pull over and see if it comes on. I wouldn't worry about it unless you're overheating.

Re:radiator fan not coming on....
well, you see idk if im overheating because my autometer water temp gauge doesnt work, there is a cut wire somewhere, the only reason i though i might be is because....if you follow the coolant hose from the top of the radiator to the block, you will notice a small nipple like thing with a hole in the top, coolant just sit in it, doesnt overflow just sits in it...idk that much about it, is that a sign of overheating?

Re:radiator fan not coming on....
The nipple on the water neck is an air bleed. Its completely useless and no longer even supported by Honda. That is not a problem unless its leaking. Start by doing the easy stuff. Unplug the fan and check to see if you have voltage there? Then use an ohm meter and ring out the fan motor. No continuity you need a fan motor. Easy stuff to fix, it shouldn't be hard.

true but the coolant is sitting at the top of the little hole in it, just sitting there, is that just because air or what? i just dont understand why it is sitting in that hole, i dont think it ever used to, i just had the headgasket and water pump replaced if that makes any difference

Re:radiator fan not coming on....
I'm assuming you took it to a shop to have the head gasket changed? They probably used the bleeder to bleed the system after they changed the gasket. Just make sure it's tight and not leaking. When you loosen it, it allows air/coolant to flow through it.
I suggest fixing your coolant temerature gauge. It's kinda important.
