Re:race shop
Hey Hydro, since all you're going to do once you get your license is street race, why not just street race now? It's still illegal once you get your license and so why not start now so you don't have to wait to get it hows that sound? Also then you won't bring up everyone else's insurance once you get caught. But who knows maybe I'm just crazy and the only reason to have a license is to street race.

Re:race shop
I have been running a custom fabrication shop in Richmond VA for a few years now, and I can tell you its hard to make a living out of it, on the east coast anyway. Most of my products(Intercoolers, manifolds, downpipes) go to California. If you are sereous about doing it have something to fall back on during the lean times, I do basic auto repair and diesel maintenance as well. There are soooooo many people in the performance business it`s hard to get your foot in the door, plus all the do it your selfers out there. Most guys that want to get in to the four cylinder front wheel drive performance thing are young and don`t have alot of money, and if they do have money or credit they look at the name brand high end stuff first. look for young untapped markets(mini, hyundi, kia)the Honda market is full, but be careful, alot of these markets are untapped for a reason, no money in them. I tried the Saturn market with no luck, a few sales and a lot of questions but not worth it in the long run. Dont get me wrong I love it and can`t imagine doing anythig else, butit`s HARD work and a lot of hours for not a lot of pay. I made more money in less time working for repair shops and car dealers. I guess it just have to move to the west coast
