questions about building a "mini-me"
First of all, I just picked up a 89 crx HF. Yes, a very weak motor indeed. I was wondering if I can build a mini-me with a d15b6 engine?

i'm not 100% positive, but as far as i know, you can use any sohc non vtec d series to make a mini-me.

nobody is replying because this has been covered a ton of times and the answers are found with the search.
the problem with the hf is that most likely you have the 8 valve pistons. (only two valve reliefs.) and then there is the mpfi swap. it can be done with some work. good luck |

I have searched as well. I just came up on a ton of info. d16 mini-me's. Nothing on the d15's. That's why I posted.

Re:questions about building a "mini-me"
just get some pistons from the DX = D15B2 and you should be fine. post a wanted ad in the classifieds section.
you can pull your head to see your current pistons. what intake manifold and ecu you running? |

Re:questions about building a "mini-me"
oh by the way, I have MPFI, i don't have that ugly black box sitting on my intake manifold with 2 injectors. I have one injector for each runner on the mainfold. Save myself from converting from dpfi to mpfi. Im so lost, some sites said the 89 crx hf's were dpfi, but mine is mpfi.
