Also replace the pilot bearing as well. These usually come in a clutch kit. Pressure Plate/Clutch disc/Throwout bearing (aka release bearing) Pilot bearing and a clutch alignment tool.

How many miles is on this trans.. I wouldnt be suprised if its a input bearing.

Also look to see if any fluids are on the ground. Does the cluch slip. If yes its the input bearing. The bareing kit caust 150-250. Or u can buy them one at a time from honda.
A good shop will take it appart for nothing. But make u pay to put together.

I charge $100 including parts ($40) to replace ISB, seal, and both washers.

You just have to bring the tranny (not in car!) to me.

(Trying to stir up business, no job, tranny side work is paying bills)

yeah, my LS tranny did that. i had no idea what was going on till the noise got worse.ewww that noise was bad, clunking and ----. hope that not what happened to you. good luck though
