i am looking to buy a prelude in a few months. pending on money. what year would you go with? i am looking at about a 93 prelude. but not sure what model. most people say the vtec on of course. what is your opion. thanks alot

 

a friend of mine has a 93, he keeps it real clean. his came with the f22, the lightest prelude of them all, and he had an h22 swapped in, now it hauls *****, wups the ---- out of my b16 88civic hatch.

 

what model was that? did you help him put that swap in? if so was it hard? lots of stuff to buy after you get the swap? thanks

 

that's the prelude S. basically it's like a dx civic as far as equipment. they were a little more stripped down, and i believe they didn't have the power moonroof. i've had 2 Preludes, both 92 Si's with the H23. (one is going to be for sale in the next couple weeks) i really like the way they ride/drive, a Honda with torque is weird.

 

The prelude VTi with the H22 in it is pretty slow stock, because of all the weight...low 15's at the track. Saw it run with 70 shot nos low 14's.
