Default Project off to a slow start! still could use a lil help.

If you've ever dont a B18A1 w/cable tranny swap into a 92-95 civic PM me lol. I'm havin some lil problems here and there on it.

Okay, I have a (i think) YS-1 cable tranny on my LS motor. It has the speed sensor in it (right one) that is run by liquid. It's going in an OBD1 civic that uses an electronic speed sensor, so I bought the vss (left) from a LS integra in the junk yard, but the bolt holes dont line up! What VSS do I need to make it work? HOW do I make this work in my 93 hatch? Thanx.

** Just looked and my tranny says S-1..? Is the Y faded off or was there a S-1 cable tranny?

well now i'm havin more problems. I figured i'm just going to drill the speed sensor cuz the holes only like 1/4" off. Today I just dropped the motor in, and It didn't want to bolt up. the motor mounts (pass. and driver) were about 1/4" off also, so I drilled out my mount brackets a little and got them to fit. THEN, lol, I dont think I have the correct rear motor mount bracket for my swap, cuz the ones i have are too short. I hope that this ---- i've done today is the "hard stuff" lol. here's a pic of the progress.

ya i know, but this one didnt for some reason....?? I think the mount bracket on the pass. side was messed up when I bought the car. No the damn conversion kit didn't come with instructions, damn i wish it did! The company who i bought it thru sent me this though:

Step #1: Swap procedures for mount

* Remove the hood and stock motor along with all motor mounts
* Install the rear mount bracket onto the engine/transmission assembly
* *** For 1996-2000 Honda Civic, mount side transmission adapter plate(supplied) to frame
* Install the supplied side transmission mount onto the transmission and install it onto the mount bracket
*
Drop the motor/transmission assembly into the engine bay and tighten all the nuts and bolts

Slave cylinder adaptor

* Remove the counter weight on the inside of the transmission lever
* Install the slave cylinder adapter(supplied) onto the release arm with the supplied hardware
* Install the adaptor bracket on the transmission
* Install the transmission slave cylinder onto the adaptor bracket
*
Bleed the transmission slave cylinder as needed

I dont know what counter weight they are talking about.? The adapter is a square piece of metal that the ball of the slave cyl. goes into, and then theres a bracket that says mounts to the tranny. I'm just not seeing how this works I guess..??
