Default Project civic "all motor"

My best friend girlfriend is allowing us to work on her civic but we can't boost it or spray it. This seems like a pretty fun challenge for us and we wants to see what we can achieve with this project. So we thought about this setup

colder spark plugs and conductor wires
4 2 1 headers
Cold air intake
Exhaust system
Catalic converter
victor x intake manifold
upgrade stock injectors
v-afc
new throttle body

and was wondering would we need to upgrade new piston and rods to change the compression for more horsepower goals? How much horsepower do you think we can achieve with those options? possibly 20 extra horsepower? Again this is my first time building an engine without thinking of boosting. any other suggestions?

Go to ezboard.com search for the "hondadseries" board. Thats a board i used to go to along time ago. Its outta commision never the less lots of info. Some would stuff like vx pistons and get like a 11 to 1 or higher compression rations. If you can find it let me know.
