Im sorry, this is just my input, but your upgrading axles to run 12's...

You said you are deffintly over 400 hp...man spend the money on tires if you only wanna run 12's.

I can't justify that at all.

How heavy is your car?

Eh, what do you call a stock suspension CRX with 390 whp that has 1.7xx 60' because it's faster through the 60' to beat the revlimiter four licks than to take the time to shift to second? 4.4x-4.6x is the average 330' time, and runs flat 7's at 107-108 with pissy traction?

Pffft, I watched the BRE car, which took their NDRA class last year with mid to high 10 second passes, at the same track I go to pull 1.42 60', 4.46 330', 7.1x@91 mph. Full fiberglass, lexan, caged pile of ---- with wheelie bars and a full crew of swinging dicks claiming to be billy badasses who couldn't break into the 6's despite their flapping gums. Let's see, their ET and trap were, uhm, slower and slower. Apparently they aren't at the level of power production I am at, despite their $$$ budget and 500 whp claims; no way in hell that gutted pile weighed more than Goforth's CRX.

If anybody hasn't noticed, while I'm a HUGE fan of big power drag Honduhs, I'm pretty ------- disinterested in making power these days. What do my few tech posts of late consist of? Suspension. When people ask for track tips I step into threads where fools debate tire compounds while I point out cut springs and 1.5 degrees of negative camber don't give a contact patch worth having and cause stupid tire wear that destroys the tire's ability to EVER give a contact patch worth having. I'm pretty sure I know what I am talking about because, unlike the douchelords from BRE, I do not buy parts out of a catalogue - I make or design them myself, have a working understanding of how suspension behaves (or needs to behave) that eclipses "buy Brand X part and here are the alignment settings I was told to run on HT" intellectual capabilities.

Is it really so hard to believe that while I can understand electricity or engine theory or embedded microcontrollers that I can't understand weight transfer? All I have EVER done is exercise redneck common sense while other people yank their dicks over Jerks or Slummit catalogues, or whatever Mickey Mouse Riceboy tuenar magazine has the sweet K-build this week.

I have two jobs, school, a kid - I have no time of my own, and the house with the garage went buh-bye so I could afford school. I roll up long enough to lay the smack down on ----, and then I am gone.
