Motor mounts? Is the engine hitting the firewall at all?

vibrates... as in you are sitting in it idling and the entire car is vibrating? or you accelerate and the car starts to vibrate?

If the car is vibrating when you are sitting still just check all the motor mounts to make sure they are nice and tight, make sure the tranny isnt hitting the side (pass side) make sure the intake manifold isnt rubbing on the firewall anywhere. (especially around the tps area)

If the car is vibrating under acceleration, its probably axles. When we first did my girlfriends h22 swap the think vibrated so bad you couldnt even drive it, the pass axle was so ------- tight in was binding up. What are you using for axles? is it a lsd trans? Is the car slammed to the ground? Try raising it up (if you have coil overs) this helped alot on my gf's car. Plus we had to use an oddball set of axles.

odd ball axles? we used a custom set of axles made for h22 swaps into civics, the damn thing vibrates so damn much i dont like driving it but its pretty fast. it vibrates at any moving point. acceleration, crusing, nuteral crusing, slowing down, hitting dips and bumps, its so bad i feel numb and weak when i get out...

its so bad i feel numb and weak when i get out... lol good description i find this amusing because i thought my car had the worst viration you could get untill i read this post, but mine doesnt make me numb and weak, just annoying, and mine is due to hasport billet mount kit that removed the front cross member mount, what kind of mounts you using?

Specifically what brand of axles are you using?
What intermediate shaft are you using?

The Accord and Prelude int shafts are interchangeable so make sure you have the one that is compatible for YOUR axles. Also, different mount kits place the engine differently than other kits. Make sure that your axles are made for that mount kit.

Or you can call up Marty at Raxles and have him build you a custom set. I told him my components (EK, H22a4, HCP mounts, accord int shaft) and he custom built a set to exact measurments. He takes the guesswork out of h22 axles.

It also matters what Trans you have as well, the LSD h22 trans uses a different passenger side axle because the case is slightly larger on that side. That was the axle that we were fighting.

I think the combination we are using is, 93 Prelude Ishaft w/ 94 GSR axle, and on the pass side, a straight 89 Integra axle. No vibrations and have had no problems.. Only at high speeds and hard corners you can feel a vibration.
