Yeah i know everybody hates on the ebay.......
But guess what already tried another ecu from my friends car same freaking issue. And i am not revving to 9500 lol
I have took to 9000 on the track before though.
Is there a way i can trick this VSS?

But i did take a WIRE and run it from my battery to my vtec solenoid while my friend held down the gas to 4000. And BAM you can hear it kick in no problem.
Just it seems the damn ecu sends now power to it.

Re:pr3 ERROR "code 17" VSS issue
No i only had my friend rev it up to 4000, So i could hear it KICK in. It will come on anytime there is a 12+ source going to it. Plus vtec works in stages and with that plugged up it will be on through the whole RPM range .
No VSS signal will stop the ECU from engaging the high cam lobes for the B16A. I wish i knew a way to trick that bastard.

Re:pr3 ERROR "code 17" VSS issue
Hey guys i got it fixed
I use a electric vss becuz of my GSR gauge cluster
All i had to do was rewire my vss
I had one wire as ground
One wire going to ecu
and one wire going to the speedometer
Well all i had to was make one wire split going to the ecu and the gauge clusters orange wire
and then run the other to the ignition
and ground stayed where it was
bam got VTEC
what what
