hey everytime i shift from 1 to 2 and 3 a laud pop saund under my car and feals like sombody hit the car under with a humer i have a crx with b17 TO4 tial wastgate and a p28 crome i chiped only donw pipe any other info you need let me know is to lonw to write if anybody experience these before what is it and how i can fix it

check your downpipes. It could be loose and be swinging. Had that happened to me.

Humers? lol.

 

 

my guess would be unburnt fuel hits the exhaust piping and ignites creating a "pop" due to the sudden expansion of gases in the piping.

 

thanks for the help i check all the gasket and pipe, i guess next ting to try is make the down pipe longer. i know somebody have these problem before is not just me. is spend a month trying to fix it is annoying saund like a gun shot wen i shift, these only hapend wen i boost

 

I'll bet your right on the money PMP. It happens to alot of our cars Rick. I don't know if there's much you can do about it, but maybe running a full exhaust with resonator or cat would dampen that backfire pop.
