ok i just fired up my 90 hatch tonight i just put a z6 in it im running obdo still with a pm6 ecu the problem i have is it wont go over 3/4 throtle it dies out if i try to stab it all the way i dont have the vtec hooked up yet could this be my problem

 

What codes is it throwing?

Its deff not the vtec. Is it a si?

 

my is a dx if thats what your asking im running teh 88-91 si intake and stuff

 

And youve done the mpfi wiring and double checked it?

 

yeha its the second mpfi motor thats been in this car

 

I had the same prob with my b18a1 in my 90 hatch just checked all the wires and i fucked the injector wiriing up all ican think of is make sure you didnt mess any wiring up installing the engine.

 

check your throttle cable. have someone sit in the car, with it turned off, and floor the accelerator. if the butterfly does not open fully, you have found your problem.

 

thanks ill check that out tomorrow, because this really sucks it coused me to f**cked up last night and i blew an axle couse it died out on me then cought.does anyone else have any input. please help
