I'm planning to fully build my CRX Si motor. Well, probably not planning to resleeve the engine yet. But I'm planning to change the stock D16 pistons to SRP pistons and swap the rods to Eagle H Rods? I was wondering what additional parts do i need? I know i need a better piston rings? any bolts i need?

 

u might need new bearings if u see they are ----

 

You won't need anything but new rings and you'll need to notch the bottom of the bore so the larger rods will clear. www.theoldone.com has a right up under "D series engine building tips" or some ----.

 

head gasket,(valve cover gasket may reuse), but you may want to change water pump, and timing belt also.
