pl3/9000 zc transmission???
I have a 91 civic si, I think it's from Canada. I didnt even know till now it had a pl3/9000 transmission in it there it has no intermediat shaft. I put a clutch in it and also some cheep axils from abc autoparts like a year ago everything fit but i had to return the long axil once for a different size. How come i dont have an intermediat shaft? How can i tell if this is a hybrid transmission with zc and si gears?

Re: pl3/9000 zc transmission???
cdn EF si cars were nothing more than a D16A6 with a typical SI trans, unless someone swapped in a ZC trans.
If its an A6, it wont have the mount holes on the A6 block to mount the jack shaft.
someone may want to confirm this. im going strictly by memory.

Canadian SI and US SI are the same.Only difference is we never had door mounted seat belts,CDN cars after 90 or 91 had DRL's and speedo is in KMH not MPH.You probably have a SOHC ZC a common swap to replace a beat D16A6 as they are identical other than camshafts.
