pin offset?

pin offset?
I have wiseco pistons for my d and they putstickers everywhere about making sure the pin offset is opposite the crank rotation. Sorry to sound newbish but this is my first engine build and i have no idea what this means. Are they talking about the spiral locks on each side of the pin? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
