Re:people who have blown headgaskets... need INFO
just blame it on the super tuner dave with his super agressive timing maps
Here's Johnnys boost ignition map. Same amount of timing that was run on Dustins car, and another friend of mines LS.
Sorry to hear Johnny. Dude, do a compression test and get back.

hahahhahah!!!
when i got my D15b1 it had cracked vavle and perp who owned the car befor me drove on it for a while.
so when i got the head shaved down and rebuilt
it blew the ring.
i was blowing smoke like a crop duster. i even got pulled over on the way to the shop.!!! lol ( fiegned ignorance )
i did gehtto re ring job honed pulled the head and oil pan off. tooke some shop cloths wrapped the crank up ( i didn't take it out.) then put carboard at the bottum and honed the cylinders out with ( 10w30 and Cylinder hone ) then cleaned out the cyclinders with Wd40 spray. clean the pistons up with Zylonal ( only thing i had ) washed clean sprayed WD 40 install rings with Total seal ( 2nd gapless type ) and put all back to gether.
i note there was nice cleve mark from the piston skirt cutting the bottum of the cyclinder ( owner befor me didn't run with oil all the time )
i did compression test 245psi...ahhh ----!!
245 248 243 247 <--- those where the numbers...
few months later ingested some water and scattered the block.( holes on both sides )
