ok to start off. most place just spray the bumper with normal car paint, but thats prone to spider cracks and such if you bump it.

there is a special paint for the paint gun for bumpers, or u can cheap out.

u will need a decent spray gun
paint
compressor
hopefully u have some kinda filter for the garage (if you have one)

basically for all the supplies needed to paint your car, u maise well prep it and have it towed in a sprayed. because for a good gun, and just paint. it will run u over 400$

u would have to spray it outside then roll it into your clean area so ---- doesnt fall on the paint.

all in all if you dont have the tools, take it and pay. (often its cheaper to have someone spray it then it is to buy just the paint!)

its the bodywork that costs a fortune in the shop.

painting the bumpers are easy. Thats my job. We use a Sata Minijet. The hood is gonna be the hardest part depending on your gun. Find a good blend spot to blend the new paint to the old. Probably on an edge or corner. If you dont blend it will be dull from where you stopped clear coating and where the old paint is. Do good prep work and make sure everything is masked off. Cleaning off overspray sux.

I started the prep. already it seems very easy, except for the trunk I havent weld the hole yet I have to wait for the shop to open on wednesday, the paint sale people here are very helpful he gave me all I need to prep, and to finish, and tips on the bumper, even though he speaks little english, the paint alone cost 80eu about $95 for a liter bumper paint same, primer$50, bondo$10, tools/sand paper$50., shop time $30 per hour, welding 20 per hour, dont seems too bad, and I'm not in a rush,I maybe in Irag in the next 5 months.
