Default p28 redline??

what the heck, today iwas driving the newly swapped d15b and i hit a rev limiter at 6500 with a p28 ecu? i thought they redlined and the motor both at 7200. am i wrong?? o and another quik question cuz i dont want to make a new thread. my gas peddle sticks when it is fully out, u ahve to push hard at first to like break it free and causes a jerk every time i shift. i put wd 40 on the throttle spring thing but it didnt help. any other remedies??

rev limiter s/b 7200. check timing and make sure the timing belt is not off a tooth. can you hear the vtec kick in?
last, check the board to make sure it has not been swapped.

feel the inside of the throttle for any build up. it might need a good clean up.

i think i can her vtec, its faint on singles compared to dohc's. and as for the p28, its not the one that came with the car, my friend bought it, so it could be a fake. but i will be getting the stock p28 back shortly. yea, i forgot to check the inside of the throttle body. thanks

rev limit's at 6500 if vtec isn't engaging, do you have code 21 or 22?

yeah or sombody swapped it out with a p06..i remember that even without my vtec not pluged in, i would still raise it to 7 grand..your cables sticking? wd 40 is useless for this ..use grahite lubricant and make sure the cables get a good squirt..
