Have you ever replaced your water pump?

I had the same problem. Car would run fine until I sat in traffic and then it would heat up and my overflow would literally overflow. I'd replace the thermostat & radiator cap (because they're cheap) and at least buy some 50/50 to put in. Make sure you purge out the bubbles too.

If you don't have the telltale signs of HG, I'd do the pump & timing belt.

Not sure about the electrical. :1

You're sure your fan is working fine? There is a parts store around here notorious for having bad thermostats, I'd get a new one and try that out, does your low rad hose get hot ie is it filling up with coolant? could your rad have gotten clogged? pull it out and try and run some pressurized water through it, use a garden hose see if it flows out nicely of just dribbles out, does your car idel high when you sit at a light or is it normal? Check out those things and get back to us

No clogs, thermostat is fine, checked it in a pot, and it worked prior to my turbo install. So long as the cooling system is full, it works prefect for like 2 weeks at a time. This is making me crazy, I may try to replace the headgasket and radiator anyways, the only 2 things which I cannot acertain are 100%. Going to be a bitch, but w/e. No other options, this is a fuckign wierd problem.

if you're so sure its the rad (because this exact rad had these problems in another car) why not replace it

so are you leaking any coolant anywhere? or over the 2 weeks does it just boil out?

it looks like what I imagine burnt coolant to be. Its running clean water now, the coolant all came out a month ago.

I did comperssion but no leakdown...I hate how apparently an HG can be done but no loss of power...oh well, Ill keep rolling like this and hope thats not it, buit save up for a new headgasket + ARP's anyways. ------- moneypit.
