Ok, tranny is actually fine ([me=TurboEF9]prays to the L3 preservation Gods). What happend was my buddy that I was teaching how to put the clutch and flyhweel in.. DIDN'T TORQUE THE FRIGGIN' FLYWHEEL!!!!![/me]
We pulled all the tranny bolts, and pulled the tranny away from the block.. and the flywheel fell out!
Oh well.. Lesson learned: DON'T LET ANYONE TOUCH YOUR CAR BUT YOURSELF!!!
---------------------
Oh, forgot.. the oil all came from the overflow hose that hangs over the clutch cable level.. put too much in, hehehe.

Well, it sort of stretched the holes a bit..
This second, he only helped hold things. I did the drop myself and made sure everything was OK. As far as the stretched holes, they don't seem to be causing an issue yet.. but who knows what the future will bring.

Your situation is not too uncommon.
Recently a friend of mine built a B16 for someone. A few days later at the races the owner was doing a burnout and then all everyone heard was knock knock knock. We all immediately thought, rod knock.
The car got towed back to the shop, tranny ripped off and sure enough the flywheel bolts were all loose.
To make sure they stay in place I use thread locker "red".
Glad to hear the tranny is fine.
