if you hard wire it properly and it dosent turn on get a new one
if it dose turn on back track and find out why there is no power going to it (bad ground, no power from relay/fuse, if there is no power getting to the relay/fuse then back track to your ign switch)
if you still cant get it post back

 

Ok well I jumped it off...the relay clicks, but the fuel doesnt prime up....ugggggh
I guess thats good to know....I need a new fuel pump....simple...i hope....
Im gettin a hynes manual today...

 

I took the carpet out the back where I find a circular thing with a connector going to it......i was like HEY this is simple...i found the fuel pump...right? No....its the damn fuel level gauge thingy I had to pull that cargo thingy out to get to it....but its not the pump....i hope i dont have to drop the gas tank

 

in a crx you have to drop the tank to get to the fuel pump!!!! and did you check your ground to the thermo housing?? i forgot that ground one tim and didnt have power to the ecu,the pump wouldnt prime and no start.. do the obvious ---- first.. check all grounds and all fuses..

 

Yeah I just figured that one out.....but all my fuses are fine and the grounds are good and tight....
i did all the troubleshooting on the main relay..and its in spec.....i guess its just a faulty pump...

 

well i checked the voltage again from the blu\white wire and the black wire and turnd the ignition to start and im not getting any voltage from it....

 

Unless you do what I did on my 89 hatch and take a sawzall to where the fuel pump sits in the tank. I really didn't feel like breaking those almost 20 year old bolts and then have the tank hangin' on the ground. :P

 

faulty relay is possible then

 

I already swapped the relay....Im gunna take the old pump out and put a walboro 255 pump in it....since i was planning on runnin a turbo on it anyway....is that pump a direct fit..? On ebay its like 80 bucks for a whole kit....
20 dollars more than stock...so what the hell.... And I also take it those bolts are gunna be a BITCH to get broke loose..ill prolly jus cut the damn straps

 

mine wernt hard at all to get loose.. if your not getting power to the pump what the hell good is another pump going to do for you? you need to figure out why you have no voltage there..
