Re: Not getting fuel.....B16 wont crank! ~~HELP~~

fuel pump will only "hum" on start up....when u turn the key to auxillary can u hear fuel prime in ur fuel rail....it's an obvious sound....did u check ur fuel filter? If you have some cheap autozone fuel filter alot of times the fuker gets clogged....either buy a new one or just blow through it with it off the car.....if it's clogged u'll be able to tell......the gas gauge should go up if u have gas in the car when u turn the key to auxillary

crx fuel pumps are cake.....seriously....u need a Helms manual bro

Re: Not getting fuel.....B16 wont crank! ~~HELP~~

I would get a manual, but today everything is closed..... :3
And there is defanatley no humm when its cut to aux...havent checked the fuse but the main relay certainly "clicks" when the aux is cut on....im thinkin its the fuel pump...i swapped my fuel filter with the one off my other CRX that ran fine with this B16 in it...ive been drinkin allot from all my depression over my car.....so i wont get back to it till 2morrow....but thanks a shitload for the advice....im prolly gunna need lotz more....but this is what HMT is for right...

get a manual and check the fuse
you can also check the fuel pump by hard wiring it (dont do this when your drunk)
make sure you smell no fuel when you do it and have some fire prevention ready

The main relay, located under the left side of the dashboard, actually contains two individual relays.
One relay is energized whenever the ignition is on, and it supplies the battery voltage to the ECU, power to the injectors, and power to the second relay.
The second relay is energized for 2 seconds when the ignition is switched on before starting, and when the engine is running, to supply power to the fuel pump.

Or u might need to check ur main relay:

Harness Test:

Keep the ignition switch in the OFF position.
Disconnect the main relay electrical connector.
Check for continuity between the BLACK wire (pin 2) in the connector and body ground.
Attach the positive probe of the voltmeter to the YELLOW/WHITE wire (pin 1) and the negative probe to the BLACK wire (pin 2).
Battery voltage should be available.
If there is no voltage, check the wiring between the battery and the main relay as well as the ECU fuse (15A) in the main fuse box.
Attach the positive probe of the voltmeter to the BLACK/YELLOW wire (pin 5) and the negative probe to the BLACK wire (pin 2).
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Battery voltage should be available.
If there is no voltage available, check #14 fuse and the wiring from the ignition switch to the fuse box, and the wiring from the fuse box to the main relay.
Attach the positive probe of the voltmeter to the BLUE/WHITE wire (pin 4) and the negative probe to the BLACK wire (pin 2).

http://www.alldatapro.com/alldata/PR...59210/41939776
Turn the ignition switch to the START position.
Approximately 10 volts should be available.
If there is no voltage check the #2 (10A) fuse and the wiring between the ignition switch and the fuse box, and from the fuse box to the main relay.
Connect a jumper wire between the BLACK/YELLOW wire (pin 5) and the YELLOW/BLACK wire (pin 7).
Turn the ignition switch ON.
The fuel pump should work.
If the fuel pump does not work, check the wiring between the main relay and the fuel pump, and the wiring from the fuel pump to the ground (BLACK wire).

hope this helps...

thanks man....im gunna take my ass outside and jump that fuker...if the fuel pump doesnt work then its the relay right
And if it does then its not the relay? ........Iunno im drunk

Re: Not getting fuel.....B16 wont crank! ~~HELP~~

not a good idea to do this while drunk....wait till tomarrow i'id say....before ur ass ends up in the ER for getting shocked to ---- trying to jump a wire an u might cause a fire...

Re: Not getting fuel.....B16 wont crank! ~~HELP~~

yeah i decided not to .....cause im not feeling like it anymore..(I got a booty call on the way)
I hope i dont get shocked tho.....but yeah if the fuel pump works with it jumped can i keep the wire there so it workd all the time....or do i get a new realy or fuel pump......
If the fuel pump works right fuel should shoot out the fuel line right...?? Like when it primes up??

Re: Not getting fuel.....B16 wont crank! ~~HELP~~

if u jump the fuel pump an it turns on...then it's the relay

if not then something is wrong with your ground to the fuel pump
