Re:Oil on spark plugs? Troubleshooting time
this happend to my ZC after the rebuild. i was shiting bricks too, however i just torqued the spark plugs down and since then i have had no problems...
i would recommend you break the car in by accelarating to 60 mph and then just dack deccelarate to like 30 and do this about 5-10 times...this will help in the sealing of your piston rings...its in the book..its called reading!!!!lol :P

I agree with you on the varying speeds (well RPMs really), break in is of course needed for new cams.
Can you detail the statement of retorque got rid of the oil? Would that be from loose plugs = leaking chamber? Confuses me.
What oil did u use for breakin?

Re:Oil on spark plugs? Troubleshooting time
I used Castrol 10-30. That's the only thing I've ever used in honda's.
So I got all of this ---- done and the car is running much better with a much better idle.
I still had some day to kill, so I hooked up my oil, boost, afr, and shift light. I also ran the vtec wire from the vafc. On the way home I hit the freeway and the car really impressed me from the small things I did today. It was really running good.
Question though. On the vafc, I have vti and vto. I would think the vto would mean vtec on, but that was the one I had to set higher than the vti. So I set the one I could and I believe I did it right becuase the car hit that ----, it said on, and it did give a little pickup. Now what the hell is the other one?
Oh, and can someone confirm that the pm6 has a rev limit of 6k'ish? I know I heard something right around there.

The distributor needed the top mount drilled out just a little to get the full range of timing.
I'm still confused on that vto/vti bullshit. What the ---- is that ---- all about?
