oil pan swapping

if i use the z6 oil pump on my y8 block can i also use my z6 oil pan?

I'm pretty sure they are a different bolt battern. Who am I to say i'm a newb.

yes, z6 pump will work on az6 pan

the y8 pump requires a y8 pan

but will the z6 pan, let aside the pump, fit the block itself

cuz im too poor to buy a y8 pan
