is this an OEM d16a6 headstud?
I'm just changing out a headgasket and not upgrading my headbolts to arp studs right now. I don't remember any of the other headbolts on other jobs I've done looking like this.
Is this the regular OE bolt or some non OE parts store kind?
I know that there are the originals for d16a6 and then an upgraded OE version later on. Is this either of those?

I looked around and it looks like this is some sort of parts store replacement bolt kit. I found the exact ones in ebay actually for $36 or something.
I hope they aren't some strange stretch bolts and they can be used just like OEM units.
I'm just going to torque them first to 22lbs, and then 49lbs like the factory specs. Hope they hold up lol.

Those don't look like any factory bolt I've ever seen. They do look like they would not twist as much as a stock bolt potentially giving a more accurate torque reading. Keep in mind that's the whole reason to use studs. If heads really lifted I think the aluminum threads in the block would fail before a steel bolt/stud would stretch...

I think I pulled a set out of an old school d15 non vtec but I could be wrong
