OBX LSD

Just wondering if anyone has some good or bad news about the OBX LSD.. I did do a search but only found dustin's old thread saying he was going to use one but nothing else.

i saw a post on H-T were a guy was using OBX had no complaints but this was on a stock motor. They are designed alot like the quaife , try it out and tell us how it is. But it is from OBX and i wouldnt trust the quality of it.

...but it would suck to have to replace it after you got it in. :-\

i read a write up, on h-t i think, that seemed to be favorable with the exception that there were bolts that were not tight enough or lock tite'd. sounded like it was good and just check the torque/lock tite on the case bolts.

There's 14 pages of people talking about it. In the first few pages there isn't much, just people saying they're waiting to get one. But sit down, have a beer, and read up for a bit, lots of good info.

yea it has definetly proved to be somewhat track worthy, but i wonder for how long and how effectively

if you notice obx is trying to come back with some better "middle of the road" type of stuff. trying to not be as cheappy but not be expensive, their new intake manifolds and turbo manifolds look fairly promising for the D-series but i think the jury is still out as far as the cam that they make

Re:OBX LSD

All the new info I have learned about cams lately is they come from 2 factories. My buddy just got 50 sets of b series cams all from the same factory has skunk2 so obx is most likely getting it there also considering their cam specs are identical to skunk2. Their manifolds are a different story thin material on any manifold is garbage
