OBDO B16 DIZZY
what would cause a dizzy to go bad on the car? i have had 2 go bad in my 90 teg with b16 swap. is it something in the wiring i might need to change? grounding the ecu? also i am running a pr3 ecu chipped.i had this swap in a 91 crx si untill my wreck. had no problems then.
You're not the only one...even though i am running a z6 on obd0, i'm using a teg dizzy also. For some reason almost every dizzy i've tried has gone bad, including the integra unit. Usually it's the sensors or the bearings that go in them. If anyone's got any info why this is, please post up...i would also like to know.
woa, that's some fucked up ----. maybe you broke a wire when you put the engine in like I did. some ground wire coming off of the ecu wasn't grounding, so I just soldered the wire onto the car right by the ecu, it works good now.
ijust recieved my new/used dizzy that i bought off ebay.put it on and my car started, imagine that.no codes but im afraid it wont last.cant afford buying these anymore.what wire did u ground off the ecu? i might have to do that too cause my pr3 wont fit in the mounting holes that the pr4 set in.so i dont think its grounded the ecu case i mean.
