Default OBD2a or OBD2b

I have two ECUs, I believe an 00' civic dx which should be OBD2b....

Heres a link to a thred with pics of the ECUs, I need to knoe which one of the ECUs is OBD2a and which is OBD2b.....also which should i be running in my car.

there should be a year stamped on them.

96-98 = "a"
99+ = "b"

Man, you got my hopes up, I cant find a stamp anywhere....

I can't find these codes on google either...

try cracking the ecu open and looking for dates/markings.
