how the hell am i suppost to do this? i ground away a little of the bottom post so the bolts would hold it in but the timing apears to be like 20+ deg off?!?!?! is that right?

 

round out the top bolt hole and pin a leg that is closest hole with a bolt, want a pict?

and then the top hole.. you need to take a dremmel with a metal cutting bit and cut the hole a little larger. that better?

 

seen that pic...thats what mine looks like.... the timing is fucked though. its a bitch to start, accelerates like a 3cly GEO with an autotranny, looks to be firing like 2 deg after TDC...

 

well mine is really far advanced and it runs ok.. my bolt is on the other side.

 

umm...i will try to swap it to the other side. im only using the two bottom bolts right now, they seem to hold it in fine.

what i would really like to know is aprox how much the timing is retarded with the dizzy like it is in the pic, then i can just advance my hole map X* and be coo..

 

just put it all the way advanced and drive it, adjust it and drive it again, till your happy

 

well as it sits right now it has zero adjustment, other than having the bolt on the other side cuz i didnt think about that. ---- i will just throw like 10deg into the map and see how it looks under the timing light....
