Default O2 sensor question

I have a 93 civic hatch, B18 swap in it, and heres my question. I have a ebay header w/the O2 sensor bung on the downpipe. Well, the downpipe didnt fit right so I had to use the DP off my D series 4-2-1. So my header/downpipe has NO O2 sensor in it right now. I want to get the car running (few things left to do), and drive it about 10 miles to my buddies so he can weld a O2 bung into the header, then install it. Will it be okay to drive?

It'll be fine. If you leave the sensor unplugged it'll just pop a code for the o2 sensor and run off the ecu maps instead. It'll run a little rich though, so just don't drive it all over if you like gas mileage :P

did the ebay header have an alternate bung hole in the actual header not the dp. if so, you cxan just use that. Also how much you pay with shipping for teh egay header, i am thinking bout picking one up.

I paid like 68 bux shipped for a ceremic egay header. It had only one O2 bung on the DP, so i'm going to have my buddy weld one on one of the exhaust pipes on the header.
