i have a 89 civic hatchback , and i'm putting a B16A2 in it, how do i wire the O2 sensor? do i use the stock one or do i need a different O2 sensor for it, also what do they mean by second O2 sensor. if anyone can help it would be appreciated. Also alternator plug is different, do i have to get a different plug or how do i wire it?

 

ummmmm....... i'm assuming the b16a2 is obd2, you might run into more differences than just the alternator plug. as far as your o2 sensor, which wiring harness are you using? if you are using your original wiring harness, just use the 02 sensor for car, the "second" 02 sensor is for the actual car that the b16 came out of, and it only really applies to which ecu you will be using.

 

o2 sensors differ with what ecu.. so which ecu are you using.

some require 2ea, 1 wire o2's, some require 1ea 4-wires.. weird ----.

just use your oringinal 02 sensor how it is.

 

how about the laternator plugs, and dizz ? and thankz for the O2 sensor one less headache i have to worry about.
