Default o2 sensor problem !!!

so when i drive my car around with it not hooked up obviously it throws a code for the sensor. so i hook it up manually by just hooking a wire from the sensor directly to the ecu. but then it throws a code for Fuel Supply System. so is there really something wrong with the fuel supply, or is it just reading wierd becouse of how i got it hooked up. like does there need to be a resistor in there or something

(91 civic ls swap with pr4, 1 wire o2)

well, you're still leaving out a lot of details. But what i'm thinking is if you've got the thing running pig rich my some other means, and the O2 sensor is sensing the rich mixture when you have it hooked up, and the ecu is trying to pull a ---- ton of fuel, and it' seeing nothing happen. So it sets a code for the fuel system since it can't change the fuel trim. I highly doubt that anyhting is legitimately wrong though.

its possible that your motor with 11.5:1 compression requires more fuel than the stock dx pump can supply, but im geussing its the way the o2 is hooked up becouse you ecu is geting a improper reading
