nos is gay unless you are using it to spool a turbo before the launch. in this case you are not. |

Good luck if you go with the naaaaws.I hope you get a free steering wheel cover with it.Or at least some seat covers. |
Re:nos???

Re:nos???
type-r stock block w/ gsr head.. man you must have a high c/r .. not ideal for n2o OR turbo.

Re:nos???
Best bet would be to go with a ZEX wet or dry kit, Zex uses a computer monitored system, that regulates n2o that is sprayed in accordiance with your fuel/air ratio and fuel and vaccumm press. Not a bad kit, alot safer than NX, NOS(haha) or nitrous works.

Running a dry shot is a bit scary IMO. The Zex kit is pretty solid, and with a mild shot on that engine it would probably work pretty well. Me personally I would definatly get a WB on that fucker and watch it each time you hit it. Jeff |

lol, did you ever open up a zex barney box to see whats inside?? You'll be suprised that its not some huge superadvanced computer but a little pressure saftey switch that Holly (the real NOS) offered for years. And since the NX kits only come as wet systems, they're actually alot safer than a zex kit. The only out of the box computer controled system with the venom kits

Re:nos???
Im not callin ZEX the best kit in the world, but I like it, I'm running it on my 99 EX, and its givin me no problems and I used a lot of it, with no signs of detonation. I mean, if I could afford the venom kit, yeah I woulda got that, but hey, to each thier own.... ;)

the venom kit is definitely not the best around, its way too overpriced and not that great in general. The best kits you can get are direct port kits, which brand is subjective. I'm just saying that most people have a blind faith in the zex kits when they're just another simple dry nitrous kit with a pressure saftey switch. I got my direct port cause it was dirt cheap, I would have settled for a single fogger wet kit if I didn't get this at such a good price http://www.newbieforces.com/files/NXkit2.jpg |
Re:nos???
Yeah, I totaly agree, I opted for the ZEX kit for a couple reasons, 1. I heard good things about it. 2. I have all stock internals. and 3. NOS is very overplayed, i swear the goddamn movie ruined n2o systems forever "Do you have NAAAWWWWZZZZ is that?!?" man, I kno it pisses me off
