Re: Normal Operating Temp?

Well I'm running probably a 25/75 Coolant water mix. And I also have redline water wetter in there too.

Brand new 185deg thermo, but as I said, I think the fan is just a little to weak. Gonna pick up my new one today.

The stock thermostat is supposed to start opening at like 174, and fully open at 185 or something. Is that what you mean by 185, the full open temp.

Re: Normal Operating Temp?

if replacing the fan doesn`t work, try stright water and water wetter.
last time i did, normal operating temp dropped a few degree.
also check your radiator cap.
and after i switched to dual core auto civic radiator, normal temp dropped even more i think like 8degree +, and it would take foreverrrrrrrr for the cooling fan to come on even under really hot weather(you know how the stock one goes on and off quite often when it is hot)
