Default ? with nonvtec head on vtec block

This is just an engine I'm throwing together that's gonna get boosted with parts I have laying around. Anyways, it's a y8 block and then I'm gonna toss a a6 head on it. CR will be 8.7 so it'll be pretty boost friendly. Now the question is do I have to put an oil jet back in the y8 block for using a nonvtec head? I know you gotta pull em out when you do the opposite so I just thought it would be the same here. Only thing is the oil jet won't fit in the y8 block that I have? Are they different or are they all the same? Would I need to get one from like a y7? What would happen if I don't use one? Just pump more oil into the head and that would what, drop oil pressure? Then that would help contribute to what? A spun bearing? Help!!
B8 oil jet port

Y8 oil jet port(noticeably smaller if you can't tell)

Hmmm no fit

May have to do the square block into a round hole trick! This should make it fit! lol

if the A6 block has one i would think the smart thing to do is put one in the Y8 block, it def wont hurt anything with it in
and if he goes Vee-tack in the future he can just pull it back out like you would on a mini-me

I think you'll starve your head of oil if you don't put that jet it. You need something in there to restrict flow.

This jet doesn't fit and someone said the y7 doesn't have one in there either.

you should be ok by leaving it out. the a6 head will probably block the hole off for you

you will need to get that oriface jet in there somehow, the y7 and y8 heads control oil flow through a different passage. If you were to leave that out all the oil would pump into the head and possibly starve the bottom end.
