hahahahaha. But he's trying....and thats what counts! The mani's fit...plain and simple. Who cares if its from a 8 valve or 16...shorter, bigger, smaller runners.....if you're fixing a tps by replacing the mani...then they'll fit if they're from a D. Just make sure the throttle bracket fits.

its a 92-95 d15 and i want to put the biger d16 v-tec manifold on it im not shure what year it came off. i just know the throttle body is like 2.5 inch and the runers are biger. i didnt know if that would mess up the air flow when going in to the head. being the ports on the head are smaller then the ones on the intake manifold.

so is this a for sure thing i know it bolts right up but will it mess with idel or not run right after the swap is done ?

All depends on how well you assemble everything :P Unless it'f a cx motor, I wouldn't even bother. Or dual-point

if it's a d15b7 the tb is the same as the z6. the runners are bigger on the z6 manifold.
since you say it has tiny ports, 92-95 d15, non-vtec, maybe you have a d15b8?
read the stamp on the block.

it is a d15b8 and the t/b on it is ------- tiny prolly 1 1/2 inch and the other t/b looks to be around 2 1/2 inch

so do you know if it will work right ?

so you have a stock d15b8 + d16z6 manifold/tb and a vtec distributor.
I would start with the distributor timing. did they modify the dizzy to fit the head? what was wrong with the old distributor?
