no spark teg

hey guys i have a 94 LS with a obd2 96 b18c-r swap. I think I have everything hooked up right and when i turn the key the engine turns over but it does not fire. I checked for spark and there is no spark. I read about people cheacking the coil for spark but i am unsure of how to do so. any help or other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

when i get no spark i usually start with the cheapest thing then move to the expensive ----, so start with a new cap and rotor, then a coil, then ignitor, then dizzy.

the cheapest thing is free, check your wiring.

i am using the obd2 p73 they sent me with the engine, im using the original harness from the car connected to the harness that came attached to my engine and, when i jump the ecu to check for cel codes it is just a constant light, no flashing looks the same as when i turn the key to on when it is not jumped.

you're car is an OBD1 but you are using an OBD2 ecu?

Did you by chance convert it from OBD1->OBD2?

I would seriously double check all your wiring and connections especially to the distributor and the ECU.

my car is obd1 and the engine is obd2, i am using a obd conversion harness that i purchased from evasive motorsports.

I am going to double check my wiring right now
