my buddys 91 hatch was converted from a dx to mpfi then a y8 sohc vtec went in and we boosted it, that was about a year ago, ran great, then it snapped a rod, motor came out, was built at the machine shop, now its back in and it wont start cuz it has no spark, we put on a brand new distro, still no spark, we checked the wiring best we could with out pulling and un looming the entire harness, cant find dick, got a code 20 ELD from the ecu, not sure if its related, what are the next steps we need to take to figure out how to get spark? whats stupid is it had spark/ no problems aside from a snapped rod, when the motor came out a few months ago. were not sure if the t-belt is on right, the machine shop did it so who the ---- knows, we need to check it, but it would still have spark even if the timing was off wouldnt it thanx in advance....
