Newbie Galant Headswap
Sup yall, I have a question about my 99 Galant. I have a 2.4 litre sohc engine. Is it possible to swap to a dohc. If so does anybody have anthing up for sale, or know where I can get it. I am trying to make a sleeper.

Oh man. You're kidding right? If not, you need to go back to riding your big wheel. You can't swap a DOHC head onto a SOHC engine. I'm no expert on DSM engines but if this is possible then call me a monkey's uncle.

I hate it when ******* like this make a thread, and never come back to it.
I think some newb's get this idea that they will come to a forum and post some question, then leave and come back a few days later and see what we have come up with for them. then reply with "thanks"
god, that annoys me.
and the other fucked up part is, you know they were refered here by some other web site, someone said, "thats some crazy ---- you are tryin, go as homemadeturbo.com"
now i could be wrong, yes, i know, but maybe he posted then something came up and hes not able to watch it, but i would bet money the bastard doesnt post more than 5 posts on the subject.
i guess the guy got the info he wanted.

4g64 and 4g63 are both dohc already. the 99 galant is a newer sohc motor that has no parts interchangable with the older one such as the 94... pwn me now cuz i kno im wrong
