new project, gots a long way to go.
well this is a 73 nova i picked up. paid to much for it but didnt realize what i was getting into.
no title(im an idiot), was sitting for over 10yrs. im hoping that i can just file it as abandoned or something. still working on that part.
but it needed cleaning bad.
the only resident in it. no mice so far.
got the front cleaned up alittle,
held in with two bolts and the hood is just laid on it
some shitty bondo work done by previous owner
and this is what it looked like when i got it, it came with everything.
the trunk of goodies
70 nova front end and grill, 73 grill and headlight surrounds(working on mixing the 2 together for a little different front) radiator, alternator, full dash, seats, B&M shifter, 350- transmission. the wiring is practically brand new, im so ------- stoked on that because i was really worried about having to make a new wiring harness but the wires are in ------- great shape, fully flexible and no corrosion. the car only had 9xxx miles on it. and a full dual exhaust.
w-30 olds 455, 9in rear, and HMT caltracs and subframe connectors. fully gutting the car, just 2 seats and a dash. very dull paint job. lexan windows.
cheap and fast as ----. (i hope)
and big ups to my friends mom. she let me take over her garage.

Re: new project, gots a long way to go.
i didnt pay more than a few hundred for it.
everyone says that, but the car is in really good shape. not one spot of rust, just some surface corrosion.
i think it was a hell of a deal besides the fact that i have to fight to get a ------- title for it. that was the mistake.

got a proof of sale and tracked down the owner before the guy i got it from, he got it from another guy about 12yrs ago, w/ no title.
fenders are welded up and primed, hood is next.

update.
no more 454, im getting a running oldsmobile w-30 engine for free, cheap rebuild and then im tossing it in.
chasis reinforcment will be next.
500 plus ft/lbs at 3700 rpm. should roast the tires before i try boosting it.
