Not a new engine but a good engine. i put it into my car and now the temp guage doesnt work. the idle is off. and the timing must be off also because the power band is different.

the sensor for water temp is hooked up correctly, why is it not working??

am i retarded or is it just my timing?

 

temp sensor = broken, swap from old engine.

adjust idle

check timing

adjust your valves too...always helps...and cheap!!
but yet check your timing belt and your dizzy on the timing....you have a timing light if not get one...auto parts store time

did u attach the thermostat ground?
