You are in HOMEMADE "TURBO", so i think you must put a big turbo to your car

i would not boost the b20.b16 hybrid your compression is probably through the roof. if i were you i would sell the engine and head and by an ls and boost that

just get a ls short block then... (6 psi)boost the b20 and IF it does blow a rod then put in the ls just make sure you use ARP head studs. remember it is 2.0 you might as well try ond see what you can do. who knows it could be a beast, but do a compression test before you boost it <<good luck>>>

build the b20 bottom end for all motor high compression and spray alil nitruos and you will be happy. my b20 vtec setup with 11.5 to1 comp and 100 shot of nos made 292whp and 261ftlbstrq.

Boost it and spend good money on a tune and those sleeves will be ok.

the b20 came in acouple different comp ratios. i believe an 8-1 and an 9-1 comp. definitely do a comp test, then boost it, sell it, or all motor it. if you boost it dont cheap out on the tune unless you have access to a another engine. the b20 does have weaker walls but can still be a monster of an engine with the right setup (stock block). i've seen realistic numbers as high as 300 safely. good luck with the b20vtec.
