Default Needs some advice on rods. f23 h22 9:1 pistons f23 crank

Ok so I bet no one remembers me or when I turbo'd my 92 f22 ex accord. Its been chipped and boosted. I blew a rod out the stock block when I took out a oil seal and drained the motor. I now have a f2.3 torn down I'm boring to 87mm, I bought h22 9:1 c/r forged pistons. f2.3 crank. I came because I am at the point I need advice on rod choice. Stock compression with the 97mm stroke and 87mm bore with sohc vtec f23 head is 9:1. Would a set of forged k24 5.985 rods Bring compression to around 11:1 and allow adequate valve clearance. I could recess valves, thicker head gasket, but keeping bore/stroke/rod ratio to allow safe reving would be nice. Like I said, they are 9:1 low compression h22 87mm pistons. Going into a f23 block with a 97mm crank. I would like some neat idea's, machining is not a problem, but I am looking for optimum fuel mileage between a small turbo and high compression with water injection. Best fuel/hp,tq. The car is a daily driver that will be a touring car as well. I already bought type s 12:1 h22 pistons, but I picked up a set of forged sooner then expected. So I'll tuck those s pistons away for a all motor build. If someone could shed some light I would appreciate it.

Never mind. I have taken my head and block to a race motor machinist I know. He is going to dip it all, seal the block with block filler, polish the crank, balance, and order custom rods for a selectable deck height and compression. I'm having him cutting new valve seats but have not ordered valves yet. He is going to order cerrara valves and renegade rods. When I cough up the dough.

I would like some advice on which direction to head. Its already turbo'd. But I am thinking about pulling it all off and just going n/a. Or put together a smaller turbo setup after I am done. I have a 89 f20 2 door accord with a auto that could use the turbo more. Just for driving. I want to find a stainless steel header set and run a much smaller turbo then the t3/t4 hybrid I was using. Instead of the heavy cast ebay manifold. run the turbo at the bottom of the collector.

Anyways any suggestions while I'm at this stage? I'm already closing the block, modifying the oil pump but what about piston squirters? removing the counter balancer? when I balance the crank should I buy a harmonic balancer and close the counter balancers? This is not a race motor. I'm building it for a driving car, to get great fuel mileage at peak boost levels from a small turbo. The forged internals are so I can boost with higher compression. Boost is fun, but I'd rather scavenge for peak hp/mpg in efficiency. around 8-14 psi total boost at ? 11:1 12:1 c/r and a built bottom end and valve train.
