Default Need some help on my throttle cable.

Any of you ******* "fidangle" a crx dx throttle cable to work on a b series motor? i put the cable on but doesnt seem to work right w/ the throttle rotor. any tricks to this bitch?

it depends on what won't work with the throttle rotor. i haven't done this swap but on a few other swaps i've done the end of the throttle cable is positioned too close to the throttle body and you don't get enough "pull" on the rotor to rev it past a few grand. easy enough to fix if you can either move the throttle cable bracket away from the tb with the bracket mounting holes on the manifold or just make your own bracket (or an extension for your stock bracket) out of a piece of scrap metal you have layin around. if your cable is too short measure how much extra you need added to how long the cable you have is and research to find a cable that meets your needs or you could get creative and make a cable extension. hope that helps but if not, need a better description or a pic of what won't work.
