Need Some Help With My D16!!!!

Ok Here is my problem. As of two weeks ago I got my new pistons and rods replaced for my car. Im getting it built for the turbo. But as Im trying to break in the motor driving it very conservatively the motor feels like its bogging. But the weird thing is when I let the RPMs drop to like 2k and as I step on the gas it starts to bogg but if I step on it again its fine. This happens in all gears. I need to find out what it is before I put the turbo on. Ive checked the plugs, fuel pump, Dist. cap and rotor, switched out injectors, spark plug wires look ok. I need to know what it could be. If you guys could give me some suggestions on what it could it would help me out alot. Thanks :'(

make sure you aint running rich first before you drive it again. too rich and you'll wash out the rings and they will never seat properly.

sounds like a fuel problem, what ecu are you running? my integ does that sometimes with a basemap and 450cc injectors...

Everything is stock except for the pistons and rods.

define "bogging"

More like hesitation stepping on the pedal sputtering.

That almost reminds me of a dead cylinder, but i doubt that's what u got. Try changing the spark plug wires and see what happens.

Same here with my civic, get some free standalone and tune those fuel maps, also, get a wideband.
