NEED HELP!!!! will a gsr rear brake setup fit on my 88 crx si???
i came across a complete rear brake setup from a gsr. and its cheap so i wanted to get it to convert my crx over to disk? will it fit/ i know i gotta run the different ebrake cable and the suspension bottom but is there anything else? need to know soon. thanks
uyes they will work but you will need a prop valve from a rear disc car without abs and the proper way would be to put a gsr master cyl. and brake booster on it make it right, you could half *** it with just a prop valve and it will work but you will have a spongey feel to your brakes

I've got a couple 40/40 prop valves. $30 shipped with Stealthmode stickers. :P
I have crx rear disks for my 92 civic, and I'm not sure if there was a reason for sure, but I put the 92 civic lower control arms on the crx assembly. I can't remember why, or if there was a reason, but I did.

u will have crazy rear camber with that swap had full type r brakes in my crx and it was all wrong 2.2- degree rear camber, 2.2 + front caster, 1 - degree camber front bigger is not always better but it helps

the trailing arm (the ONLY piece that runs front to back) is the same from 88-01. (civic/teg).
use the 88 CRX ITR style LCA w/ the trailing arm and you'll be fine.
you need brake lines too, and the CRX ebrake cables. the teg can work, but you gotta HMT it y0!
when you install them, @ the front of the trailing arm is the compensator arm, DO NOT LOSEN THE BOLT FROM THE CAR, only the trailing arm, otherwise you need to get an alignment.
