Default My car has PMS

Alright, this one seriously confuses me and I need a little insight from other people to help me figure it out. I swear to god once a month my 91 Civic (d15B2)just acts like total ---- and is a bitch to drive without it stalling on me.
It seems like everytime it's rainy/foggy/drizzly outside it will buck and bog out under high load, low throttle conditions. Once the rev's get passed about 4k it's fine. Also, I know when it's going to start acting up because when I go to start the engine, it makes a "coughing" sound like it's shooting air out the air filter
I've replaced the entire ignition system, and cleaned everything I can think of in the hopes to solve this. It's nearly impossible to drive when it does this to me. The engine's got alot of miles on it, so i wouldn't be surprized if it's on it's way out, but I would think it would do it all the time if it were too serious.
It's almost like a sensor is causing it, but I'm not getting any codes. Any of this sound like familliar symptoms to anyone? I appreciate the help.

Mmm, It's probabaly been changed before, but not by myself. I'll throw a new one in tomorrow, but wouldn't the stuttering/bogging happen all the time if that were the case?

True, I will definately replace it. It just sucks that I don't know when it will act up on me. Every time it's happened, it's been rainy outside. Could be as simple as a fuel filter who know's. I just can't wait for spring to come so I can swap engines.

Cap, rotor, and plug wires. I guarentee that is the problem. 100% or your money back.

haha, I'll go get a set of plug wires tomorrow. The cap, rotor and plugs are less than 3000 miles old so i don't think they need to be replaced yet. We'll see. It's got to be the ignition.
