My car will not crank sometimes?
it will just sit there and take forever to crank.

It apparently aint getting no fuel, so hlep me out, its a 4th gen civic si

 

probably some more info would be great.

 

It will just sit there and turn over when i turn the key, and then it will start the next time. or time after that.

Sometimes it wont start at all, like if i cut it off at a gas station, then go to start it, it will not start, eventually after like 6 time trying it will start. when it does that it turns on, but then just off real quick, when i push the gas.


I let the fuel pump turn on and all, i dont htink its the pump since its starts and runs fine, but then again, occasionally it will start "bucking" while im driving?

 

whens the last time you changed the fuel filter? sounds like a dirty fuel filter to me.

 

not that i know of? some people have told me the relay? but dont they cost like 100 dollars

my civic did that ---- too me a few times last week and the week before, the oil was getting low because it leaks out of everything on my engine. I could only get that ---- to start if I pulled the ecu fuse and waited 30 seconds, then put it back in. I still don't know what the problem is, but it doesn't do it anymore. I have a slightly used b16 fuel filter here in my garage somewhere, I should put that ---- on my car and see if I'm more fast or more furious.
