my all motor setup ?
hey i was wondering wut u guys think about my setup so far any opinions r thanked ok bottom end is ls stock bore with weisco pistons that r rated at 12:7:1 or 13:2+1 specs on gsr block with eagle rods and the head is gsr head with omni power full valve train springs valves and retainers with buddy club spec 4 cams and edlebrock intake manifiold victory x and 64mm bore t/b and acl bearings and aebs head studs and this is going in a crx so should it be a beast or sled thank u

Um stock heads on all motor are a huge bottle neck and a good header makes all the difference.

na not stck head port and polished and vavle train and cams and yea i am thinking of getting anr or ssms or some ---- lke that

well lets see we dont have you dome specs or the spec on the valves is the block decked is the head milled what headgasket your using. Honestly Im like the only on on this board who gives a rats ass about all motor go to honda-tech.com w/ your questions

Damn you should list stuff out one part per line. Anyway, isn't the Victor X a little big for NA? What are you going to use to tune it? Generally yes, it will pull nicely in a nice lightweight CRX.

It will kill your power and torque I promise. Your best bet is either a reworked gsr manifold or a ported blox or aebs manifold the casting in these manifolds is rough and needs to be cleaned up to optium flow. The plenum/runner volume in the edlelbrock mani is very agressive and really shouldnt be on a 1.8 na motor. I have a couple ported gsr mani's that I have done that supported 200 whp so if you want one hit me up in pm :)

well I just built bascily the same setup as you are talking about. ls/vtec with gsr head and weisco pistons it would be 13-1 on a gsr block bust since this is a ls/vtec your exact cr would be 12.45-1 using a ls bottom end. and yes it will def get up and go. in a crx tuned really good you could probably runn 12's I have seen a hatch with a simalar setup and lower cr runn 11.6 freaking halled! well good luck with the build sure you will enjoy it got any more ?s feel free to pm me
