msd sci 6300 install help
 
hey i just got a msd SCI and some of the wire i know where it goes and some i got no ideal any help....?
big black and big red go to ground and 12V battery
orang and small black go to coil and small red go to 12 v with a switch and the white 1 i got no ideal this go on a prelude with external coil ... thank

oh good lord I did this once... what year prelude? I remember there being no documentation and we just hoped...

but yeah, if it's the same year, I'll try to get a look at the guy's car.

the car is in another city getting an at->mt conversion, but I'll see if my friend remembers how it went on.

ok, the red wire doesn't really go to a switch and +12V, it should go to the wire going to the distributor/coil that is ignition(most likely a black w/yellow stripe wire. the white wire from the msd should go to the trigger wire, which should be white/blue. the black/yellow is considered the positive side of the "coil", and the white/blue the negative.

yeah we start it up but the rpm doesn't work and it seem like it doesn't run right late timing or something ahhhhh :'(

you tapped into the trigger wire right? you didn't cut it off completely?

double check your connections.. there shouldn't be anything hidden.

tell me which wires you've hooked up to what (colours and names).
